How to care for…

Denim

Our Denim is created out of the highest quality cotton from Japan, and woven in Italy. Its twill weave, rigid structure and deep indigo colour make it an exceptionally glamorous and feminine fabric.

Care instructions

Your Delvaux is made of the highest quality cotton sourced from Japan. It has been crafted with great care by our master craftsmen working in our workshops in Belgium and France.

We recommend taking the following steps to preserve the timeless beauty of your Denim:

  • First of all, if your Delvaux should be damaged in any way, please take it to one of our boutiques or contact our customer support.

  • Store your Delvaux in its original dustbag and stuff it with tissue paper to preserve its shape.

  • Take care not to overfill your Delvaux as this could permanently damage its shape.

  • If the denim gets wet, gently dab with a soft, lint-free cloth and leave to dry away from any sources of heat.

  • Should the Denim become soiled, we recommend rubbing it gently with a soft, lint-free, lightly dampened cloth. Do not use any solvents, abrasives or soap.

  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat, to avoid any fading or discoloration.

  • Colour transfer may occur if there is prolonged contact between the Denim and a lighter coloured material.

  • The metal hardware will develop a patina over time. Any metal pieces can be cleaned by gently rubbing with a soft, dry, non-abrasive cloth.

  • Do not use Delvaux's 'First Care' range on your Delvaux as it is not suitable for Denim.
